YDNPA Volunteers walling at Askrigg, Wensleydale - Spring 2015
Recently a section of the derelict wall crossing a stream was rebuilt by the team over three work days and a new water gate was manufactured and installed to make the gap stock proof.
Access ranger Paul Sheehan, who instigated the work, described the finished job as “tidy” - praise indeed from a man of so few words!
